Fountain in a minimalist surrounding

While Zen photography is a mindset in its essence, the resulting images appear strikingly minimalist by design.
It was with this concept in mind that today’s photo. The bokeh effect on the background drives the viewer’s attention to the essential: the water coming out of the fountain.
The photo is part of a project, named essays of water in black and white, which chases the minimalism of Zen photography through the presence of the element water in all its forms.
