Cyberpunk Museum/Museu Cyberpunk
Danish artist Jesper Just presented at MAAT - Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology (Lisbon) - an exhibition named Servitudes – Circuits (Interpassivities). Jesper constructed two types of emotional spaces inhabited by characters that reflect the human condition at the present time. With a touch of cyberpunk, Jesper discusses the interaction between humans and technology, underlying the benefits of living in a technological world, but also the dangers of submitting to it.
This set of photographs, named Cyberpunk Museum, was shot during a visit to the museum. In a creative process of documenting his visit, the photographer tried to underline the high-tech-low-life atmosphere felt in MAAT's Oval Room in August 2019.
Jesper Just, artista dinamarquês, exibiu no MAAT – Museu de Arte, Arquitetura e Tecnologia (em Lisboa) –, a exposição Servitudes – Circuits (Interpassivities). Jesper construi dois espaços emocionais habitados por personagens fugazes que refletem a condição humana atual. Com um toque cyberpunk, Jesper discute a interação entre humanos e tecnologia, sublinhando os benefícios de viver num mundo tecnológico, mas também os perigos que resultam da submissão do humano a este mundo.
É na sequência de uma visita a esta exposição que o conjunto de fotografia Museu cyberpunk surge. Num processo criativo de documentação da visita, o fotógrafo procura sublinhar a atmosfera high tech-low life que se fez sentir na Sala Oval do MAAT em agosto de 2019.
