Organised by The British Journal of Photography - 1854, Portrait of Humanity is one of the greatest collaborative photography exhibitions in history. At its core, Portrait of Humanity is a celebration of our shared values: Individuality, Community and Unity.
The photograph "Kids riding their bicycles" shown below, was shot on May 26, 2019, in New York, was featured in the shortlist of the Portrait of Humanity 2020 edition. The photograph will also be included in the Hoxton Mini Press publication 'Portrait of Humanity: Vol 2' which is available now to order.

Kids riding their bicycles / Miúdos de bicicleta
When I saw this flock of kids riding their bicycles, I pulled out the camera and, when they noticed they were being photographed, they started waving and exhibiting their prowess and bravery while riding their bikes. It's a photograph taht I really love and a memorable moment of iteraction with the photographed subjects.
Quando vi o bando de miúdos a andar de bicicleta, tirei a câmara do bolso e apontei-a. Quando perceberam que estavam a ser fotografados, começaram a acenar e a exibir as suas proezas e a mostrar a sua bravura no domínio da bicicleta. É uma fotografia de que realmente gosto e um momento memorável de interação com os sujeitos fotografados.
